  1. gold plated plugs does not change anything if the cable itself has no gold in it …. but it looks cooler

  2. It’s true ,but longer gable mean phone will charge longer, so 210 ft mean it will charge about 2,5 hour to full battery.

  3. You do realize that the phone is charging from the last hub you plugged in and not from the charger at the other end, and that this test doesn’t prove anything?! If you want to test the cable, try a data transfer.

  4. By using powered hubs/repeaters, you’re essentially just charging from the most recent point. But what would be really interesting is to send data over it. That would really show off how well the repeaters/powered hubs are working.

  5. Ima plug the charger in the living room and put my phone with the cable plugged and charged in my pool

  6. I hope you connect a gaming laptop supply to that puppy. The resistance for DC cord of that length is going to be unfathomable (to normal folks, electrical folk can prolly tell you. Immediately).

  7. You absolutely don’t need signal repeaters for charging (at low speed anyway).
Also, the gold plated won’t do much because of all the losses you already have along the line.
If you use regular copper, 1mm diameter (0.8ish mm² surface area), that would be around 1.3 ohm of added resistance. It’s clearly not much.
On the other hand, going for only 0.5mm sized conductors would rise it almost 5 times! To 5.5 ohms…
    So, yeah, clickbait here…

  8. Why did you make it so tough you already know the length of the cable you can try as it is or you circle it inside your room. It doesn’t matter how far you go

  9. No se cuanto es eso de pies, asi que, mientras no usen el sistema internacional de unidades, no me suscribire ni dare like 😅

  10. Bro’s freaking wrong , according to the formula v=ir so voltage is actually proportional to resistance. The resistance decreases the current passing through. 😂

  11. i think it has to do something with electricity going trough the cable at almost 200.000 m/s so i think 210ft don’t mean anything to that cable

  12. Basically also explained having a really long ethernet cable. So annoying you have to have more power have so much length.

  13. When you think about it tho if your house is connected to an electrical grid the wires are connected all the way to the power plant which could be miles away

  14. what was the need to go outside of your home – you could have done that in the same room with the 100ft cable
